In The News…

There is another side to the “Occupy Wall Street” story and that is the 53% who pay taxes.  They are paying taxes to essentially subsidize those who want to hang out and have what could be reminiscent of a 1960s Love In at Wall Street.  Pretty sad in my book, but no one asked me…that is why I blog it.

Now, some say it is a ploy, but guess what…I personally know of a number of people who have more than one job just to make ends meat.  In these hard times most families must have several sources of income, just to get by.  At least these people are doing something with their lives as opposed to those enjoying their youthful rant as a protester on Wall Street.  NO ONE HAS EVER GOTTEN ANYWHERE IN LIFE BY BLAMING OTHERS, except for politicians, of course – they usually get elected.

What are your thoughts??

“Constitutional Chaos” by Judge Andrew P. Napolitano

An excellent eye opening book to the facts of the day where politicians make the laws, but don’t feel obligated to follow them; only we little people must follow them.  Makes you wonder exactly what they are thinking other than Aristocracy, eh?  It seems to be  a much more abbreviated version of “Gulag Archipelago” by Solzhenitsyn, which in turn was based upon the Soviet forced labor camps – where a good Russian was defined by his term in the Siberian Gulags.  Hmmmmm, a rather odd way to determine one’s worth in society, don’t you think?

Based upon much of his time in the legal system, on the bench, etc. Judge Napolitano has a great many tales of disdainful legal antics, and as time goes on it tends to get much worse.

In The News…

Did you hear the one about a mother being sued by her 20 year old daughter and 23 year old son?  Their lawyer team was headed by their father who was divorced from their mother since 1996.  Hmmmmmm, that doesn’t sound like a set-up, does it?  After two years, an appeals court judge dismissed the case.  Talk about ungrateful little bastards, as well as, a truly disgruntled ex-husband!  Truly a pathetic problem within this country where law suits are being propelled into action because of fools in black robes who don’t seem to have the forethought to say this is a bullshit suit and dismiss it outright.

Our legal system is broke because it is not protecting those it was intended to protect, they are suppose to be a check and balance on those foolish lawyers who want to push the envelope or judges that have an agenda to push upon the public, because they don’t really want to become a senator or congressman.

What do you think??

In The News…

A lesbian couple in California who say their 11-year-old son wants to be a girl are giving their child hormone blockers to delay the onset of puberty.  REALLY?  I find this to be rather odd, in that, giving a child a controversial therapy or drug to be nothing less than neglect and abuse.  What are the long term affects?  Even though it is designed to delay the onset of puberty, there are unexplored dangers such as the possibility of gene mutation, or some other long term affect that may be detrimental.  There was a time when parents, even if homosexual, were to act as such – not as the child’s friend.

What are your thoughts on such a thing? Is this abusive, neglectful, or an infringement upon the parent’s rights to raise their child?

You can read up on this all over the internet, blogs, news sites, etc.  Just take your pick.

“The Creature from Jekyll Island” by G. Edward Griffin

Even though it has been quite some time since I read this book, it is a timeless and very handy resource as to how our economic system is handles and manipulated.  The purpose of the Federal Reserve was to prevent the economic bubbles, recession dips, double-dips, and crashes.  Unfortunately, it never was able to, nor could it ever, prevent these impending economic problems and explosions.  Though the material is quite dry, it is a valuable resource for all to review from time to time; which will remind us why we need to go back to an economic system with value such as gold and silver.

Mr. Griffin did and excellent job with the subject matter.  You should be able to obtain the book through Amazon.com, or any other bookstore.  You can also listen to what Mr. Griffin has to say at http://www.realityzone.com/.

Be educated in our system which binds this nation and take up the gauntlet to make the necessary changes to set this nation on the right course.

In The News…

I was watching the news and was listening to the plight of a small business owner who was in fact being harmed by the protesters exercising their right to freedoms of speech, expression ans assembly. I will be the first to taught these rights and many more; however, when your rights infringe upon the rights of others and their rights…you have overstepped you authority with respect to those rights!

The city backed off from the evacuation to “clean” the park. Hmmmm. Bloomberg, you need to grow a set! Businesses loosing out, you need to look at legal action against the city and the protestor movement for violation of your rights.

It is truly a sad state of affairs in this country! God help us! This is our future generation.

No matter the channel, the protesters want jobs from those against whom they protest – good luck with that and your History degree. And they protest that their student loans are coming due, who promised you a job?? No one is obligated to hire you! And no one forced you in to college!

“Income Tax: Shattering the Myths” by Dave Champion

A well written book on the subject matter at hand. Mr. Champion tackles the subject of taxes and the average American’s liability to the government. Well written and an awesome layout to follow enabling any person with both an open mind and a true desire to learn about the subject matter of taxes based upon the IRS’s own Codes, the statutes at large, U.S Supreme Court cases, and the relationship to the U.S. Constitution.

Dave Champion is a staunch Conservative, likened to a Goldwater Conservative. He is an internet based podcast show host and is Constitutionally based. I read through his book while visiting a cousin. After arriving home I listened to many of his shows – well done and spot on point with any subject at hand; rarely, if ever have I heard him ramble on other than to clarify his point.

His website is located at: http://www.davechampionshow.com/
